What is it?

What is Reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates is a low-impact strength and mobility practice performed on a reformer — a sliding carriage powered by adjustable springs and straps. The springs create smooth, scalable resistance that challenges your muscles through their full range of motion while supporting your joints. It's precise, deeply effective, and surprisingly approachable for beginners.

Reformer vs. Mat

Two paths, one method.

Mat Pilates uses your bodyweight and small props; the reformer adds a sliding carriage and spring resistance for more support and variety. Most members love a mix of both — drag the slider to compare the two.

Lizette Robles, Founder & Lead Instructor

Expert guidance

Taught with care by Lizette Robles.

Reyna Pilates began with a simple belief: movement should feel like care, not punishment. A proud Odessa entrepreneur, Lizette is also the founder of Golden Oak Venue and a paralegal at Robles Family Law — and she built Reyna as the calm, grounding counterpart to her full days. After years of practising Pilates and feeling how profoundly it changed the way she moved through life, she set out to create a studio where the Permian Basin could feel that too: unintimidating, personal, and genuinely inclusive. At Reyna she teaches the method the way she fell in love with it — slow enough to understand, precise enough to transform, and open to every body.
